Hi all just want to show my disgust in poor workman ship from proelec auto electrics, do not use them. Pro elec auto electrics are far from pro! I called Dwayne for a mobile service call on our 2000 model vt Calais v6 as I had just put a new engine and box in it. The car was running poorly and almost to the point of not being drivable. I know the engine ran fine in the car that it came out of as I had driven it. After hrs of myself trying to fix it I had called Dwayne putting down to an electrical fault. Dwayne attended, and apparently tested everything and was told that there is nothing wrong with the car electrically, there is something wrong mechanically. I was stumped. Later that night I hosed the engine down with water and put the motor under load. I sat and watched in the dark the spark plug leads earthing out all over the motor throwing sparks everywhere. Dwayne was here for all of 30min and tried to charge $275 but had agreed on $200. The following day I bought a new set of spark plug leads and fitted them to the car. The car now runs perfectly. I have called Dwayne back asking what he is going to do for me and he said that spark plug leads aren't electrical, he did his job and that was that, expressed my dissatisfaction and was hung up on. Poor professionalism and do not recommend this company at all, as a backyard mechanic like myself can do his job. Thanks for reading.
